Role & Duties of the Volunteers 

As a registered volunteer, you will have an opportunity to:

■ Perform as an intermediary force between citizens and the government

■ Act as a social leader who represents the aspirations of the community

■ Raise a voice for the rights of the people Identify gaps in the public service delivery of all provincial government departments and suggest improvements

■ Act as resource person for communication between the public and public servants Monitor progress of action against highlighted issues and conduct follow-ups

 ■ Perform as “eyes” and “ears” of the government to understand public sentiment towards governance

 ■ Help communicate various governance related measures to the public through social and traditional media

■ Guide the public in accessing relevant departments for the resolution of their issues Gain inimitable experience of the public service delivery, effective communication and project management Be the change you want to see in the society.
